The Pro-Wrestling Chronicle is now in its sixth week of publication, with more than half a million characters logged and over a dozen exclusive features spotlighted since launch.

Those who have been with us since the beginning may have noticed some changes. Our focus has shifted away from current wrestling news, and has become more of a historical perspective on interesting facets of the colorful history of professional wrestling that aren't necessarily heavily covered in 2005. This change in direction has worked well for us, and established The Pro-Wrestling Chronicle as an easily accessible reference for the wrestling fan looking for accurate perspective on wrestling history, without having to digest excess opinion from the author --which we attempt to reserve for peices expressly labeled as editorial. No decision has been reached on if and when current wrestling news will return to our rotation. Wrestling news reports from 5, 10 and 15 years ago are currently on hold while consideration is given to their future. Consideration is being given to halting these reports, and instead focusing on block reports such as the Fourteen Weeks in 1990 series, which we believe offer a clearer glimpse at a period.

The Pro-Wrestling Chronicle and our staff of one would like to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read our coverage, leave a comment, or tell a fellow wrestling fan about us. The patronage is appreciated greatly. We have added contact information and a poll section to our navigation, and invite you to cast a vote for which of four events you would like to see us cover in our next historical overview.

Our coverage will continue tommorow with the fourth and final part of Fourteen Weeks in 1990, as well as the third part of an eye-opening interview with Vince McMahon, the first two parts of which can be accessed in the November archives of our Monthly Index.

Thank you for your continued support,
The Pro-Wrestling Chronicle

    Hey man,
Been enjoying this site as it provides a fascinating look at the past that typical retrospectives don't.

Quick question: are you ever going to put part 3 of the Vince McMahon interview up?

Keep up with the good work boss,
    Chris

I really love the site, but don't want to see a complete absence of current stories. Maybe some sort of monthly column about the biggest federations and names would suffice?

I think there's plenty of sites already offering current news. The history is what makes this site unique and special. Keep up the good work. I've really enjoyed everything on here.

I totally agree with the above statement. There are tons of wrestling news sources, but not so many sites that offer a really great look into wrestling's past.

I think that devoting this site to the stories that brought the business where it is today is a wondeful idea. I am thoroughly enjoying the "14 weeks" installments, and I would love to see more series like this in the future.

Hand on heart, Jay, this is my favourite site. I think that you're doing a sterling job. The "14 weeks" series is essential reading. Ignore today;s stories; it's not where your nuance lies. The older stuff is so much more interesting than the overload of day-by-day stories that feature in today's sites.
